Timeline:

Slice 4.3 is expected to be released in Q3 2015.

Slice 5.0

High-level scope:

  1. Limit boiler-plate code needed in services/servlets
  2. Extract Mapper as a separate module
    1. state-of-the-art mapping for Sling
    2. Take best solutions from existing mappers (Slice, SlingModels, Neba)
    3. Make it framework-agnostic, allow for easy integration with frameworks
    4. Add persisting
  3. Rethink context scope and use of context stack
  4. Rethink multiple injector approach

Timeline:

Slice 5.0 is expected to be released in Q1/Q2 2016

Add-ons
